DUROWORKS, founded in 2018 and led by Sergio Perez Fontana, is the structural engineering business of TECHNAVIA LLC. Sergio is an aerospace engineer with more than 35 years of experience in aircraft design, loads, aeroelasticity, structural analysis, structural integration, and optimization.
His background includes technical and leadership contributions to aircraft programs, including the Boeing 787, Bombardier Global Express, Gulfstream G500 and G600, and the Supernal eVTOL aircraft.

DUROWORKS supplements aerospace design-build-test programs with advanced structural optimization methods, industry knowledge, and direct senior-level engineering involvement.

Current focus: design evaluations and pilot projects for aerospace startups and rapid-iteration development programs.

A highly loaded general aviation wing-to-body fitting was evaluated through organic and prismatic design studies.

The work combined structural analysis, material distribution, geometry development, manufacturing considerations, and design refinement.
